    Hydraulic oil must meet numerous requirements to be considered acceptable. For example, it must meet the viscosity requirements of the hydraulic device at both operating and starting temperatures, and its viscosity-temperature performance and shear stability must meet the requirements of different applications. During the preparation or use of hydraulic oil, it is often necessary to add an appropriate amount of hydraulic oil defoaming agent to enhance its defoaming properties and maximize its energy transfer, anti-wear, and lubrication properties.

    I. Effectiveness of Hydraulic Oil Defoamers

    Before Defoaming: The presence of large amounts of foam in the hydraulic system can cause unstable system operation, reducing lubrication performance and transmission efficiency. Excessive foam accumulation can also easily cause gas compression in the hydraulic system, placing unnecessary pressure and load on the system. Furthermore, when foam accumulates to a certain level, it can overflow, potentially causing leakage in the hydraulic system. This can lead to energy loss, reduced efficiency, decreased hydraulic system stability, malfunctions, and unplanned downtime.

    After Defoaming: After adding hydraulic oil defoamer, foam is quickly removed, resulting in more stable system operation and significantly improved lubrication and transmission efficiency. Gas compression is also effectively prevented, resulting in better system performance and significantly enhanced system stability, reducing the risk of failure and downtime.

    II. Storage of Hydraulic Oil Defoamer

    Light-Proof, Sealed Storage: Hydraulic oil defoamer should be stored in a dark place, with the container sealed to avoid direct sunlight and air oxidation, which can affect its quality.

    Dry Storage: Hydraulic oil defoamer should be stored in a dry environment, as humid environments can cause deterioration of the product. Therefore, it should be kept dry and away from contact with water.

    Store away from sources of ignition: Hydraulic oil defoaming agent is flammable and should be stored away from open flames and high temperatures to prevent fires and other accidents.

    Separate storage: Hydraulic oil defoaming agent should be stored separately from other chemicals or toxic substances to avoid interactions or contamination.
