    Defoaming principle and analysis


    1. Analysis of the cause of foaming:


    Most of the additives added by the aqueous binder are surfactants, which can change the surface tension of the aqueous binder, so that the aqueous binder itself implies an inherent factor that is easy to foam or stabilize the foam. In the production process of water-based adhesives, various high-speed mixers and some constructions, turbulence, splash, impact, air pockets, etc. in the aqueous binder will increase the free energy of the coating system to varying degrees, which will easily occur. Bubble, this is the external bubble.


    In the waterborne adhesive industry, the foaming problems of epoxy A and B adhesives are the most serious, due to its special formulation and special production process, and the surface tension of the emulsion system is greatly reduced due to the use of emulsifiers. This is the main reason for the production of foam; the pigment wetting agent and pigment dispersant in the latex paint reduce the surface tension of the system to promote the generation and stability of the foam, so that the foam is stable and not easy to eliminate; the free monomer is extracted during the production of the emulsion. Preparation of high-speed dispersion and agitation of latex paint; foaming during spraying, spraying, etc. during construction may also occur.


    2. Hazard of foaming:

    Due to the foaming problem of epoxy A and B, the production operation is difficult, the air of the foam hinders the dispersion of the pigment or the filler, and the utilization of the equipment is insufficient to affect the quality. When the finished product is filled, more foam is required for the foam. The paint film used in the construction leaves blistering to cause the surface to be uneven, which affects the appearance and the service life of the paint film.


    3. Defoaming recommended by defoaming agent


    1): Epoxy A and B adhesives: used in adhesive manufacturing, polyvinyl acetate, casein, dextrin, acrylic, natural and synthetic latex (latex), gel and glue, high viscosity white Milk, glue, EVA emulsion, latex, emulsion polymerization, acrylic milk, adhesive, white latex, starch glue, polyvinyl alcohol emulsion, sex for defoaming and antifoaming. Various types of emulsion: acrylic resin, adhesive, white latex, polymer glue, water-based color paste, emulsion polymerization, waterproof coating, printing, synthetic emulsion

It has strong defoaming ability in various types of emulsions, fast breaking speed, anti-foaming length and no rebound. It completely eliminates various sizes of bubbles and improves product quality. It is an efficient and durable defoaming performance. The defoaming agent has strong anti-foaming ability, long-lasting anti-foaming property, no pinhole, and does not affect product firmness.


    2): Defoamer for synthetic latex: Defoamer for synthetic latex is used to synthesize latex, yagna gum,


    Natural latex, natural rubber, synthetic fiber, synthetic resin emulsion, synthetic rubber defoaming and degassing, water-based printing glue and coating glue, water-based high viscosity glue defoamer.


    3): White latex defoamer: suitable for defoaming and foam suppression of white latex production;


    characteristic:


    1. It consists of modified polyoxane, white carbon black, dispersant and stabilizer;


    2. It can maintain a good anti-foaming effect at a lower concentration;


    3, can be used under different temperatures and acid and alkaline conditions;


    4, easy to disperse in water, defoamer speed;


    5. Good compatibility with foaming medium;

    4) Printing coating defoaming agent: applied to printing coatings (viscous glue), polymer emulsion polymer, acrylic acid emulsion, etc. Low-viscosity waterborne (water) pulp, printing paste (single waterborne pulp (for water slurry), low viscosity glue, foam system, etc.).


    Characteristics: It is very easy to disperse in water-based system, strong self-emulsification, good defoaming, long-lasting foam suppression, especially for water-soluble polymers and medium and low viscosity systems. No fisheyes and pinholes will occur. It is especially effective for eliminating large bubbles and fine foams in emulsions, has long-lasting foam inhibition, excellent dissociation and dispersibility, and has no side effects. It is completely environmentally friendly.


    5): Defoamer powder for starch processing: special for starch processing, coating


    Characteristics: The defoamer powder for starch processing is made of bismuth polyether as the main raw material and refined with various active additives. It is a kind of high-efficiency powder defoamer, which has fast defoaming, long foam suppression, low cost of use, high electrolyte resistance, strong acid and alkali resistance, high shear resistance and foam which can eliminate water-containing system. The foam emulsion is easy to break the emulsion defect in high electrolyte, strong acid, strong alkali and high shear system.
